Hotel Limmathof - Zurich

The room was too hot and the radiator didn't work. Plus, the tub was so high, I worried I'd do damage just climbing in. I almost wanted to try the restaurant, but no one took notice of my discomfort, so why bother? I woudl ve been happy to give a good review but just couldn't.

Everything at this cheap hotel was fine as we expected. We got guest room with coffee/tea, an excellent choice of TV channels to choose from, for instance, had good experience here. Its staff was efficient and cooperative. The service was excellent, totally satisfied.

The queen room was well-maintained with double bed, so that guests had essentials. Had breakfast in the dining room. The staff was cooperative, gentle all the time.

This was an excellent fit for a short visit in Zurich with decent value for money. They had electric adapters at the front desk, super helpful when we realized ours didn't fit. If you need a quiet spot, keep the windows closed to avoid street noise.

It's clean great budget hotel with helpful staff and an incredible location...

Location - and train station is near, street with restaurants just from the hotel and begins, walk anywhere you can, public transport was not used, supermarket Coop literally 300 meters from the hotel. In the evening it is interesting to walk along the promenade (and during the day too). Spacious room, clean venue, windows overlook another nearby street, where you can see how the funicular rides. Wi-Fi was working perfectly... All the necessary accessories were in the bathroom. furniture in the room is of good quality (probably like everyone else in Zurich). staff is always there to help. I'll add a little bit about Zurich. There's only the Swiss franc everywhere. There are exchangers at the station, their hours of work are... not working on weekends. We came on Sunday. Of course, we can pay with the card, there's no problem with it. if you have cash, it'll be difficult, not all establishments accept the euro.

No hair dryer. Lack of a safe. Absence of a mini fridge (or minibar). My husband was 186 cm tall - his legs were resting on the wooden back of the bed, he said he did not sleep well - uncomfortable, but I was very comfortable with my 164 cm. So who is tall, pay attention.

Loved the location, just a hop across the river from the main train station! Clean but dated room. A bit of noise from nearby guests early in the morning, but overall, decent for the price 😊

Close to central station and a supermarkt around the corner.

Basic breakfast, dirty tables, slow waiters... and the w-lan didn't work all the time and the only response at the desk was "I can't do anything so at this moment there's no internet". No excuses or something. Bad service. And: it is really loud (forget it if you wanna sleep with open windows which you should because the rooms are smelly!). Absolutely not recommended!

Well, it was a really really nice stay for the first visit. The bed was extremely comfy and the room and bathroom were beautifully maintained and vintage. The location was unbeatable, for example, Zurich was not too far away from the hotel

The location was fantastic, just a few steps from the train station and right next to trams! The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Super convenient for exploring Zurich.

Uncomfortable socket layout!

My children wished there were more kid-friendly meal options.

A little dirty, in the shower mold, on the walls and window sills dust, the floor to our settlement was badly washed in the bathroom. It's a bit noisy (there's a road junction under the window). There aren't many sockets in the room, and it's uncomfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was and of course the location could not be more perfect. My room was very comfortable and the bathroom very large and modern. I have stayed at many different hotelsin Zurich but would go back to this one. The entrance is small and simple which hides the quality of the rooms offered. The breakfast -- as in many Zurich hotels -- is simple, but adequate. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A real find of a hotel!

For the price range I really cannot find anything to fault.
